The adult classes are great for anyone who wants to get in shape, have a good workout and learn something practical and useful at the same time. While learning the techniques and self-defense, the program builds strength, endurance, and improves cardiovascular performance.
The adult classes are comprised of white belts through black belts. These classes are a great way to get in shape, reduce stress, improve self-control and self-discipline in a fun and useful way.

Our training unifies development of mental concentration and emotional control. With special exercises, such as meditation, breathing exercises, and imagery, students can control emotional attachments and enable themselves to think positively and open their minds to others. Exercise can also help the body correct physiological illnesses such as mental health, certain cases of depression and hypertension, arthritis and diabetes.
Typical Adult Class
(Mondays and Tuesdays)
- Arrive at lest fifteen minutes before the class is scheduled to begin to warm up.
- Bow to the instructor(s). Student does not have to wait for the instructor(s) to acknowledge the bow if the instructor is busy.
- Salute the flags when entering.
- Line up according to rank and seniority.
- Highest-ranking student will call commands.
- 5 Minute warm up and meditation.
- 10 Minutes basic hand/foot techniques.
- 10 Minutes shield/heavy bag kicking.
- 10 Minutes forms/weapons.
- 10 Minutes self defense.
- Mat Chats w/stretching and cool down.
