USKA will be on TV! At the Fall Back Festival! Demonstrators needed!
On Sunday, November 1st, USKA will be doing a series on demonstrations for local news. This festival will be located on the corner of 4th & J and KUSI will be filming a USKA demonstration at 7:15 AM and San Diego 6 will be filming another at 8:30 AM. There will be a live demonstration on stage from 3:30 to 4:00. We need diaper dragons, tiny tigers, youth & adult students to demonstrate. On Sunday, November 1st, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, Grandmaster Shin will be holding a Ki Gong (Energy Exercise) seminar at the USKA studios.Pretesting
A list of students testing this month may be obtained from the instructors. Students not testing this month, are not allowed to participate in class during Pretesting and Testing days. However, students are encouraged to come watch the test and earn attendance credit. As always, if you normally attend on a Tuesday, the class can be made up on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday.Orientation For New Students & Parents
We hold our monthly New Student/Parent Orientation on the second Tuesday of the month. Orientation begins at 6:15 PM here at the studio. All students, especially new students are encouraged to attend to learn about all of the social events, special programs, and policies of the United States Karate Academy.Kids' Movie Night
6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The price is $20 which include pizza, snacks, drinks, movie, games, and 3 hours of adult supervision. Please send movie suggestions to Tom Yahner. There will be a sign-up sheet in the back of the Dojang.Parent Karate Association Meeting
All parents of USKA students are invited to attend. Juliana Guidi and Lisa Catlin are co-chairwomen of the PKA and will be running the meeting. Our Student Relations Director, Daveed Rangel, will be the USKA representative in attendance. This meeting is intended to discuss parental concerns, comments, and suggestions on how to make our Academy a better place. These meetings will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6:15 PM at our studio.Testing
